About The Position

Analysts will support critical functions across Huntington Capital Markets, working with teams such as Equity Capital Markets in Columbus, Financial Sponsors Group in New York City, and Securitized Products Capital Markets in Charlotte. This role is scheduled to begin in July 2027 as part of the Analyst Program. Analysts will partner with junior and senior professionals to support new business development, pitch strategy, transaction structuring, and execution across a broad range of industries. In this role, Analysts will assist with financial analysis, market research, comparable transaction analysis, client pitch materials, offering memoranda, term sheets, financial models, and other transaction-related deliverables. Analysts may be involved in multiple stages of a transaction, from early client discussions and marketing materials through execution and closing, while helping clients achieve their financial and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 0-1+ years’ direct experience in investment banking or corporate finance
  • FINRA Series 79, 63 or other necessary combination, or to be obtained within 120 days of hire date
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting junior and senior team members in developing new business ideas, pitch strategies, and transaction structuring scenarios to help clients achieve their financial and strategic objectives.
  • Assisting with preparing client pitch books, transaction comparable(s), financial models, offering memorandums, lender presentations, and syndication opinions, all while interacting with prospective investors, and facilitating deal execution from start to close.
  • Complete deal closing checklists and ensure all components of the closing are accurately reported.
  • Participate in meetings with current and prospective clients.
  • Create and maintain accurate quarterly reports for management.
  • Utilize proficiency in credit fundamentals and can determine the appropriate risks on new and prospective clients and transactions so that all relationships are entirely in strategic alignment with Huntington's risk profile and external financial markets.
  • Maintain current knowledge of risk-related changes that may impact assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Adhere to bank policies and procedures and complies with legal and regulatory requirements to ensure quality assurance.
  • Assisting business development efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
