About The Position

Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain flexographic printing, bag converting, sheeting, and laminating machinery used to produce paper packaging. The position involves operating new machinery in a clean, air-conditioned work environment. First- and second-shift schedules are available, Monday through Friday. Ongoing training is required.

Requirements

• Experience setting up and troubleshooting converting or printing machinery.
• Experience working with large rolls of paper or plastic.
• Knowledge and use of hand tools, including a tape measure, screwdriver, and wrenches.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to maintain dependable attendance and accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Ability to manage job-related stress and foster productive workplace interactions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds daily.
• Must adhere to safety regulations, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Set up and troubleshoot flexographic printing and converting machinery.
• Monitor the machine and keep it supplied with paper, glue, and ink.
• Inspect products to verify materials, size, print, and quantities.
• Keep the work area clean.
• Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
• Complete ongoing training as required.
