About The Position

We are seeking a highly analytical, customer-obsessed Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager to own and continuously improve the digital shopping experience across Bask & Lather's ecommerce ecosystem. This role is responsible for maximizing website conversion rate, revenue per visitor, average order value, and overall customer experience through data-driven experimentation, user experience optimization, merchandising improvements, and customer behavior analysis. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with consumer psychology, UX best practices, and ecommerce expertise. Success in this role will be measured by measurable revenue growth, not simply the number of tests launched. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with the Director of Ecommerce, Head of Growth, Marketing, Creative, Development, and Lifecycle Marketing teams to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and execute experiments that drive meaningful business results.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization for a high-growth DTC ecommerce brand.
  • Deep experience with Shopify Plus.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce analytics.
  • Experience planning and executing A/B testing programs.
  • Experience with GA4, Shopify Analytics, and customer behavior tools.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and consumer psychology.
  • Proven ability to increase conversion rate and revenue through experimentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management and prioritization abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the company's conversion optimization roadmap.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer insights, analytics, and revenue impact.
  • Build and maintain a structured experimentation program.
  • Establish best practices for continuous optimization across the ecommerce experience.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across Homepage, Collection pages, Product Detail Pages (PDPs), Cart, Checkout, Navigation, Search, Landing pages, Mobile shopping experience, Promotional campaigns, Subscription flows, Product bundles, Upsell and cross-sell experiences.
  • Continuously identify and eliminate friction throughout the customer journey by improving Mobile usability, Information hierarchy, Product discovery, Navigation, Site speed, Checkout experience, Product page layouts, Trust signals, Reviews placement, Product education, Purchase confidence.
  • Analyze customer behavior using Shopify Analytics, GA4, Triple Whale, Microsoft Clarity, Heatmaps to identify Conversion barriers, Drop-off points, Navigation issues, Cart abandonment opportunities, Mobile UX improvements, Revenue opportunities.
  • Optimize Product merchandising, Collection organization, Product recommendations, Search experience, Collection filters, Bundles, Cross-sells, Upsells, Promotional messaging, Product badges, Social proof placement.
  • Own the optimization of landing pages supporting Paid media, Influencer campaigns, Product launches, Promotional campaigns, Seasonal events, Retail launches.
  • Partner closely with Director of Ecommerce, Founder & CEO, Ecommerce Manager, Brand Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Creative Team, Development Team, Customer Experience, Operations.
  • Develop executive dashboards and provide weekly reporting on Conversion rate trends, Revenue per visitor, A/B test results, Revenue generated from experiments, Customer behavior insights, Key learnings, Next optimization priorities.
