This role reports to the Director of Digital Growth and Web Conversion and will manage a team to execute a high-impact testing roadmap across their corporate B2B website and e-commerce storefront. The position involves owning the Optimizely experimentation environment and driving full-funnel revenue growth through comprehensive lifecycle strategies, such as trial nurture programs and abandoned cart recovery initiatives. The ideal candidate will be AI-curious, bringing traditional CRO expertise while exploring new ways to leverage AI for improved testing workflows, predictive insights, and better business outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years directly managing Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
  • Direct people management experience.
  • Proven experience scaling and growing e-commerce engines and storefronts specifically within a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated curiosity for integrating AI tools into marketing processes.
  • Hands-on expertise with Optimizely is required.
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing revenue-generating lifecycle programs.
  • Proficiency in web analytics (Google Analytics 4) and user behavior tools.
  • Strong experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI and Data Studio) and dashboards to analyze funnel metrics and report on test performance.
  • Familiarity with the integration of marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce) data to track full-funnel conversion efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as they relate to deploying and troubleshooting tests.

  • Own the Optimizely platform and develop/scale the A/B, split, and multivariate testing roadmap across the corporate website and e-commerce storefront.
  • Map and analyze key customer journey stages, removing friction from digital funnels from initial landing to final transaction or lead capture.
  • Identify and implement strategic use cases for AI within the CRO process (e.g., predictive AI for audience segmentation, generative AI for test ideation and copywriting).
  • Design and execute multi-touch nurture sequences to convert evaluators into paying customers.
  • Implement and optimize abandoned cart recovery programs and other lifecycle campaigns to accelerate time-to-purchase.
  • Implement targeted personalization strategies to serve relevant messaging, content, offers, and digital experiences to priority user segments.
  • Leverage web analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, and user feedback to identify drop-offs and high-value optimization opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on the commercial and digital performance of all CRO and lifecycle initiatives, translating complex test results into actionable business insights for executive leadership.
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations to ensure seamless data flow and accurate tracking across web platforms, CRM (Salesforce), and marketing automation systems (Marketo).
  • Work across marketing teams (Product and Industry Marketing, Campaigns, Paid Media) to generate high-impact testing concepts and partner on implementation.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create test variations that align with brand guidelines while pushing performance boundaries.
  • Partner with web development teams to ensure smooth and flawless test launches without negatively impacting site performance.
