About The Position
This role is for a Project Engineer / Controls Application Engineer (Design and Programming) with a large HVAC Manufacturer's Representative that has a Controls Department. The position is located in Richmond, VA. The role involves 80-90% office work focused on design and programming, and 10-20% field work for job walks and commissioning assistance.
Requirements
- Background in Controls Engineering and HVAC
- Experience with Tridium

- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Responsibilities
- Controls Programming and Graphics Design Engineering with either MS Visio or AutoCAD
- Responsible for SOP’s – Sequence of Operations per the customer’s requirements
- Incorporate equipment needs into Design Submittal Package: drawing creation, as-built drawing
- Assist Project Manager(s)
- Participate in Project Management
- Confirm BOM’s (Bill of Materials)
- Purchase Order Creation
- Review contract
