About The Position

We are seeking a Controls Design Engineer for our Controls Department in South Boston, MA. This role involves creating, designing, and managing Building Automation Systems (BAS) architecture, developing sequences of operations, and conducting site visits for job walks. The ideal candidate will lead the development of automation data and designs, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of controls designs. You will also support controls programmers and project managers, with a willingness to learn specific BAS programming lines. Knowledge of Tridium Niagara is highly preferred.

Requirements

Prior experience as an applications or Controls Engineer
Experience creating, designing, and managing BAS systems and architecture using MS Visio or AutoCAD
Experience developing Sequence of Operations for projects
Ability to visit customer sites to perform job walks
Ability to lead and develop detailed automation data and designs and prepare them for submittals
Ability to ensure controls designs for the project are delivered on time and efficiently
Ability to help and support controls programmers and project managers
Willingness to learn how to program in specific BAS lines

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and Understanding of Tridium Niagara is highly preferred
