About The Position
The Controls Design Engineer will be responsible for developing, designing, and creating blueprints for BAS layout projects. This role involves creating sequences of operations, leading automation design development, and preparing submittals. The engineer will also visit customer sites for job walks and ensure timely and efficient delivery of controls designs. Support for lead engineers and a solid understanding of BAS operations are also key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- Prior Experience as a Controls Design Engineer or similar position
- Experience working with AutoCAD or MS Visio
- Knowledge and Understanding of BAS Operations
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and create blueprints for each BAS layout project
- Create Sequence of Operations for each project
- Lead and develop detailed automation designs and prepare them for submittals
- Visit customer sites and perform job walks
- Ensure controls designs for the project are delivered on time and efficiently
- Help and support lead engineers
