About The Position

The Unit Controller is accountable for managing the financial close process, cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and capital expenditures. The role requires leadership in the budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as collaboration with senior management to ensure effective financial decision-making. The Unit Controller also participates in special projects, contract negotiations, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Oversee cash flow, cash and banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and capital expenditures.
  • Manage the weekly and monthly accounting close process to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to support operational leadership.
  • Lead the weekly financial roll-up process.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process with input from senior on-site management.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for clients as required.
  • Participate in special projects, including contract negotiations and operational changes.
  • Ensure all financial records and reports adhere to Aramark’s Business Conduct Policy and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Train and develop operations teams on financial acumen and adherence to financial policies.
