About The Position

William Vaughan Company is helping in the search for a Controller for a manufacturing production facility based in West Central Ohio. As the Controller, you will be the financial backbone of our plant, ensuring accurate processing of all accounts payable, payroll, and cost accounting activities. You’ll be responsible for overseeing internal controls, ensuring compliance, and supporting the plant’s operational efficiency with your keen attention to detail and proactive problem-solving. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience with an automotive/manufacturing supplier (preferred).
Strong computer literacy and familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., Made 2 Manage).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable & payable, company balance sheets, income statements, and all things ledger-related.
Invoice, track payments, and resolve past-due balances with finesse.
Track tooling inventory and collaborate with engineering for monthly updates.
Reconcile ledgers, analyze data, prepare statements for management, shareholders, and tax reporting.
Conduct internal audits, maintain controls, and ensure all financial reporting meets standards.
Project cash flow, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Use Made-2-Manage (or similar ERP) to input, review, and optimize job costing and analysis.
Provide key data for company performance metrics.
