About The Position

Itamar ZOLL Itamar is a medical technology company focused on developing, marketing, and selling diagnostic products based on its proprietary PAT platform technology. Its WatchPAT device is an FDA-cleared portable diagnostic device for obstructive sleep apnea testing. The Controller assists with all aspects of the accounting function, including banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoices, payments, reconciliations, the general ledger, and provisioning. This is a temporary assignment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
5–7 years of proven work experience in accounting and/or finance.
CPA license required.
Strong accounts payable experience.
Ability to consistently perform core responsibilities without direct supervision.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent follow-up and follow-through, with ownership and accountability.
Individual contributor role.

Responsibilities

Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations.
Prepare and enter journal entries.
Review and approve vendor payments.
Assist with banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoices, payments, reconciliations, the general ledger, provisioning, and other accounting functions.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and complete for management review.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Review, analyze, and audit travel and expense reports.
Oversee interactions with tax authorities, including opening and closing state sales tax and withholding tax accounts.
Assist with quarterly external and internal audits and annual audits.
Respond to requests from the Company’s Controller and provide information to independent auditors.
Assist in developing and implementing procedures and features to improve departmental workflows.
Execute ad hoc finance projects as needed.
