Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Bachelors degree plus five years of relevant, industrial experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial functions including cost and general accounting activities, product costing and capacity planning, and time studies.
  • Analysis of operating costs and variances.
  • Provides management with timely reviews of organization’s financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
  • Maintenance and improvements to various accounting systems.
  • Maintenance and development of forecasting and budgeting models.
  • Timely, accurate preparation of special studies and projects.
  • Supervision of staff.
  • Manage payroll system, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
  • Member of Management Team responsible for planning, budgeting and implementing TQM and Best Methods Program.
  • Maintain audit binders and associated completion & reporting.
  • Work directly with external auditors.
  • Arranges for audits of company accounts, prepares reports required by regulatory agencies, and completes fiscal year-end audit binder.
