About The Position
GHJ Search & Staffing is partnering with a growing $200M general contractor in the South Bay that’s looking to bring on a Controller to report directly to the CFO. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role overseeing accounting operations across AP, AR, and project accounting — with a strong emphasis on WIP, financial reporting, and team leadership.
Requirements
- Controller or strong Assistant Controller ready to step up
- Experience in construction or project-based accounting
- Strong WIP / job costing background
- Hands-on leader who can roll up their sleeves
- Comfortable working onsite
Responsibilities
- Overseeing accounting operations across AP, AR, and project accounting
- Emphasis on WIP, financial reporting, and team leadership
- Elevate and build out the accounting function
- Involvement in an upcoming ERP implementation (Viewpoint/Vista)
