About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Controller (CPA required) to join our leadership team and play a key role in driving the financial success and continued growth of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with senior leadership to influence strategic business decisions and oversee all accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Active CPA license (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 5–10 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with senior leadership
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive results
  • Experience supervising or mentoring accounting/finance staff
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, overseeing the company's financial performance, accounting operations, and internal controls.
  • Lead budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, inventory and asset tracking, vendor relationships, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Analyze and communicate key financial metrics.
  • Support strategic planning and operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and department leaders.
  • Drive process improvements that support business growth.
  • Mentor and develop a small accounting team.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture built on accountability, confidentiality, and operational excellence.
