About The Position

As a leader in image guidance solutions, IMRIS Imaging, Inc. provides optimized, fully integrated image-guided therapy environments that address the important needs of patients, clinicians, and hospitals by delivering timely MRI and imaging data to clinicians for use during surgical or interventional procedures. The IMRIS Surgical Theatre enables intraoperative imaging directly within operating rooms. The Company also designs and manufactures proprietary head fixation devices, imaging coils and OR tables for use in this unique and multifunctional intraoperative environment. It is estimated that over 70,000 patients have benefited from lifesaving or life-extending procedures performed in an IMRIS Surgical Theatre. IMRIS will continue to integrate new intraoperative imaging technologies and shape the future of neurosurgery in operating rooms worldwide. We are currently searching for a Controller to join our team. This role will be performed both on-site and remotely as necessary and is based in the Greater Twin Cities area at our Chaska, MN headquarters. Please note: There is no relocation offered for this role. The ideal candidate will currently reside in the Greater Twin Cities area. As Controller, this role is responsible for managing the accounts payable/accounts receivable function; including direct report(s), managing/supervising external audits and worldwide tax filings, managing all treasury activities; including forecasting and cash flow management, the accurate and timely recording of financial information at both a consolidated and individual company level, including internal monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.

Requirements

  • 7+ or more years of related accounting work experience preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Private Equity experience is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting practices and procedures to enable accounting procedure adoption/compliance
  • Staff management experience and strong leadership acumen
  • Forecast modeling
  • Treasury experience
  • Multinational corporate experience
  • External audit management
  • Domestic and international tax

  • Private Equity experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and expense management function, including direct report(s)
  • Supervise external audits for consolidated entity, as well as international sales offices
  • Supervise tax filings for consolidated entity, as well as international sales offices
  • Timely monthly, quarterly and annual internal reporting for the consolidated entity, as well as international sales offices
  • Management of treasury activities, including weekly forecasting and all cash flow management activities
  • Responsible for the accurate and complete general ledger bookkeeping of subsidiary offices including account reconciliations, reasonability review and posting of journal entries
  • Prepare quarterly and annual cash flow and balance sheet forecasts
  • Technical accounting adoption expertise
  • Lead company operating expense plan and capital expense budgets
