Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience
  • Healthcare experience required
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare financial operations, budgeting, and reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

  • CPA preferred
  • Nursing home or long-term care experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and reimbursement processes preferred
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations
  • Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and financial controls
  • Coordinate audits and work closely with external auditors and consultants
  • Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership
  • Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff
  • Assist with reimbursement analysis and healthcare-related financial reporting
  • Maintain internal controls and implement process improvements where necessary
  • Collaborate with department leaders to support operational and financial goals
