Control Technician - Center City - Full Time
About The Position
The primary function of this role is to perform all necessary repairs and maintenance duties for maintaining electric, electronic, and pneumatic controls for the buildings, automation systems, and other related equipment in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction. This includes performing preventive maintenance, responding to work requests, and maintaining, calibrating, repairing, and installing various control devices. The technician will also be responsible for reading and interpreting schematics, installing controls for monitoring systems, performing air and hydronic balancing, maintaining records, observing regulations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and cooperating in work improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience with schooling
- Four (4) years of experience without schooling

Responsibilities
- Perform all repairs and maintenance duties necessary for maintaining electric, electronics and pneumatic controls to the buildings, automation systems and other related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to all regional work requests.
- Maintain, calibrate, repair and install all controls and ventilation controls for devices such as air handler, hot water generators, mixing boxes, VAV boxes, reheats, thermostats, automatic valves, etc.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints and diagrams showing the operations of a control system.
- Install controls or remote sensing devices for the maintenance monitoring computer systems by using software on a PC, laptop or hand held diagnostic tool.
- Perform air balancing and hydronic balancing to the system by adjusting air flow dampers or flow control valves to achieve the desired results.
- Maintain records as required.
- Observe sanitation, safety and housekeeping regulations.
- Ensure that all work is performed according to customer needs and satisfaction.
- Cooperate in department’s work improvement efforts.
- Practice excellent customer service.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
