About The Position

The primary function of this role is to perform all repairs and maintenance duties necessary for maintaining electric, electronics, and pneumatic controls for the buildings, automation systems, and other related equipment in a timely manner, to customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High School/Technical School education
  • Three (3) years of experience with schooling
  • Four (4) years of experience without schooling

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventive maintenance and responds to all regional work requests.
  • Maintains, calibrates, repairs, and installs all controls and ventilation controls for devices such as air handlers, hot water generators, mixing boxes, VAV boxes, reheats, thermostats, and automatic valves.
  • Reads and interprets schematics, blueprints, and diagrams showing the operations of a control system.
  • Installs controls or remote sensing devices for maintenance monitoring computer systems using software on a PC, laptop, or hand-held diagnostic tool.
  • Performs air balancing and hydronic balancing to the system by adjusting air flow dampers or flow control valves to achieve desired results.
  • Maintains records as required.
  • Observes sanitation, safety, and housekeeping regulations.
  • Ensures that all work is performed according to customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Cooperates in the department’s work improvement efforts.
  • Practices excellent customer service.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
