About The Position

The Control Room Operator is a member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team in its Purina Animal Nutrition business. The role performs front-line production processes, adding value and quality to production inputs and helping create final products. Work includes operating machinery and equipment and packaging finished products. The position is scheduled for the third shift, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful attitude.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Ability to work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones, potentially in areas with dust and chemicals.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
Machine operation and/or forklift experience.
