About The Position

The Control Room Operator is a member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team within its Purina Animal Nutrition business. The role performs front-line production processes, helping transform raw materials into finished products through machinery and equipment operation and packaging. The position contributes to producing high-quality products for customers while following safety, quality, and standard operating procedures. The scheduled shift is 3rd shift, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a consistently respectful approach.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
• Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones, potentially in areas with dust and chemicals.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.
