About The Position

As a Control Room Operator at Reworld, you will execute approved plant start-up and shutdown procedures to ensure the facility meets its operational, environmental, and safety commitments while operating safely and efficiently. You will monitor plant systems, support operators, respond to alarms, and help manage critical events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successfully complete the ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within the first year of holding the position.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor Reworld operations systems and maintain strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations.
• Read blueprints, P&IDs, and schematic specifications.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks during emergencies, providing clear directions for operational, safety, and environmental tasks.
• Respond to operational alarms and take immediate corrective action.
• Apply operational best practices, problem-solving, and sound decision-making to support safety and operational goals.
