About The Position

Arcosa Wind Towers is seeking a Control/Process Operator in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves rolling and re-rolling plate to match sweep, inspecting plate, operating a burn table to cut plate according to blueprints and measurements, transferring plate with a mag lift, and blasting and painting plate. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
Ability to operate a lift to move loads up to 30,000 pounds.
Ability to operate an overhead crane on a production line.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat coworkers with dignity and respect, and support a positive working culture.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to use hands and arms to feel, reach, and grasp.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to tolerate high and low temperatures and loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

Roll and re-roll plate to match sweep.
Inspect plate for defects and damage.
Operate a burn table to cut plate according to blueprints and measurements, and dispose of remaining material.
Operate a mag lift to transfer plate within the department.
Blast and paint plate.
Follow all safety rules and practices.
May participate in safety committees or initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
