About The Position

Arcosa Wind Towers is seeking a Control/Process Operator in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves rolling and re-rolling plate, inspecting and processing plate, and moving materials within the department. This is a safety-sensitive position. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., subject to change based on business needs, with occasional scheduled mandatory overtime, including weekends.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to operate a lift to move loads up to 30,000 pounds.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane on a production line.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat coworkers with dignity and respect, and support a positive working culture.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; use hands and arms to feel, reach, and grasp; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate high and low temperatures and the loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Roll and re-roll plate to match sweep.
• Inspect plate for defects and damage.
• Operate a burn table to cut plate according to blueprints and measurements, and dispose of remaining material.
• Operate a magnetic lift to transfer plate within the department.
• Blast and paint plate.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May participate in safety committees or initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
