If you're passionate about this, we want to hear from you! MWH is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Contracts Manager to support project work near Boring, OR. The Contracts Manager will ensure compliance with government regulations, statutes, and conformance with MWH�s policies and practices. This role will be dedicated to a large project near Boring, OR but may in the future support multiple projects of various sizes and complexity in other locations. It is expected that the successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of key components found in both standard and non-standard construction contracts and subcontracts (e.g., change orders, claims, indemnity, insurance, waivers of consequential damages, liability caps, force majeure, warranty, payment provisions, etc.), as well as experience in reviewing other related contract documents, such as non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), subcontracts, purchase orders, teaming agreements, joint venture agreements, rental agreements, management authority matrices, etc. This position also assists in change order development, negotiation, and management and execution of contracts and subcontracts in conjunction with Legal, Sales, and Operations. The Contracts Manager will also support in ensuring compliance with MWH�s policies and practices regarding cost controls. It is expected that the successful candidate will have knowledge of bids, estimates, and general accounting practices. The ideal candidate should know �construction specific� contract and cost principles and understand how those principles should be properly allocated to eliminate or mitigate risk, and how to properly communicate risk and risk mitigation through financial reporting.
