About The Position

Under this task order, the contractor will independently provide services to support bureaus and offices within the purview of the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Assistance, Humanitarian Affairs and Religious Freedom (F). The contractor will work in close collaboration within the F Family. The contractor will be responsible for assisting with contract management responsibilities; tracking invoices, assist with preparing request for proposals, assist with resolving Unliquidated Obligations (ULO). This position sits in The Office of the Executive Director for F (F/EX).

Requirements

  • Mastery of advanced management and organizational skills, including the application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods, in order to develop processes and measurable indicators for maintaining, improving, and assessing program effectiveness.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Bureau’s and the Department’s structure, missions, functions, and operations to coordinate extensive studies related to assessing and improving the F Family’s program planning, budgeting, contracting, evaluation or other activities related to accomplishing its mission.
  • Ability to communicate orally to conduct fact finding interviews, meet and deal with management officials, and present recommendations to management.
  • Ability to communicate in writing to provide guidance, instructions, and reports of findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractor compliance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of the contract.
  • Verify that deliverables meet quality standards specified in the contract.
  • Regularly report on the progress of contract deliverables and milestones.
  • Address any issues or concerns that arise during the contract performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications, inspections, and other relevant activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the contractor and the contracting officer.
  • Conduct inspections and evaluations as necessary to ensure contract compliance.
  • Assess and evaluate contractor performance against established metrics and criteria.
  • Manage any changes to the contract scope, schedule, or requirements as directed by the contracting officer.
  • Facilitate contract closeout activities, including final inspections and documentation.
