Our work depends on a Contracts Administrator Principal joining our team to support the fast paced and growing portfolio that includes a diverse suite of federal civilian agencies within our DELTA+ business sector (Diplomacy, Environmental Protection Agency, Law Enforcement, Treasury Agencies, National Aeronautics and Space Administration and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration +) in customer engagement, proposal development, and mission focused contract activities. The ideal individual will be experienced in administering complex IT service contracts and task orders; demonstrated expertise identifying and analyzing complex contract matters; experience in risk and OCI assessments; and have an ability to apply strategic solutions to address business and programmatic risks. This position requires a clear communication style supplemented with contractual knowledge and strong business and customer acumen.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree. In lieu of a degree, 12+ years of related Contracts Administration experience required.
  • 8+ years of related Contract Administration experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Active Top Secret clearance required
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation abilities.
  • Highly experienced with various contract types.
  • Experience supporting various incentive contracts.
  • Advanced Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements.
  • Ability to operate and negotiate independently.
  • US citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) and/or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives
  • Work with programs to help identify scope creep and manage change
  • Negotiate contracts, including price, terms and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems
  • Review requests for proposals and participates in proposal color reviews
  • Review and approve solicited and unsolicited proposals for submission to customers
  • Review and negotiate various types of agreements
  • Interpret contractual work requirements and obligations
  • Make recommendations regarding contract implementation
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices
  • Participate in special projects as required
