About The Position

This position is responsible for representing the company in developing excellent customer relationships with all existing and potential customers through informative, efficient and friendly service.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
  • Able to complete basic math and measurement skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • 2+ years of Building material knowledge and or experience.
  • Detail oriented.
  • To be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
  • Communication (verbal communication, persuasive impact, listening, written communication).

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on quotes, outstanding orders, etc.
  • Develop, lead and expand existing accounts.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to ensure clients complete satisfaction.
  • Develop relationships with customers responding to their questions efficiently and courteously.
  • Process orders in person, on phone or via email.
  • Efficient communication with dispatcher coordinating delivery requests to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Discussing features and benefits of products and services.
  • Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions, up-selling additional products and supplies for each job.
  • Answering incoming phone calls and emails to assist customers in a timely manner.
  • Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
  • Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
