About The Position
This position is responsible for representing the company in developing excellent customer relationships with all existing and potential customers through informative, efficient and friendly service.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- Able to complete basic math and measurement skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- 2+ years of Building material knowledge and or experience.
- Detail oriented.
- To be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
- Communication (verbal communication, persuasive impact, listening, written communication).
Responsibilities
- Follow up on quotes, outstanding orders, etc.
- Develop, lead and expand existing accounts.
- Provide a high level of customer service to ensure clients complete satisfaction.
- Develop relationships with customers responding to their questions efficiently and courteously.
- Process orders in person, on phone or via email.
- Efficient communication with dispatcher coordinating delivery requests to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Discussing features and benefits of products and services.
- Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions, up-selling additional products and supplies for each job.
- Answering incoming phone calls and emails to assist customers in a timely manner.
- Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
- Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
