About The Position

Herzog Contracting Corp. is currently seeking a Contracting License & Procurement Assistant in St. Joseph, MO to join our team. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
Solid communication skills.
Must work well in a team environment.
Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen
Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
Must successfully pass color/vision examinations as required by the position.
Must be able to hear and distinguish auditory signals as required by the position.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
3 years working in business administration or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Renew current Contractor licenses with each state or agency for National Construction
Apply for new contractor licenses as needed for National Construction
Assist with prequalification packages
Update Manhour history from current project
Work with current project staff to gather indirect costs for future bids
Bid Management – Solicit Bids from subcontractors and vendors
Assist with preparing bid documents
Support and assist estimating with all administrative tasks
Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
Other duties as assigned.
