About The Position
The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to hire an intern who will support its Clinical Professional Services (CPS) Division in Central Office Boston. The intern will have the opportunity to observe/participate in an array of Workforce Development initiatives across DMH including pipeline development and staff training and development.
Requirements
- Comfortable working with data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
- Organizational skills, ability to handle private and sensitive information as well as multitasking
- Ability to work well within a team, offering assistance and contributing to group projects
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing tasks
- Bilingual or multilingual fluency
Responsibilities
- Inventory current student training opportunities within DMH sites and facilities
- Inventory current schools/programs with students participating in DMH student training opportunities
- Clarify procedures for onboarding, identify recommendations for core training/didactics, and develop survey/strategies to support on-going outreach and engagement from DMH after their internships are complete.
