EM Nursing Clinical Instructors - Contracted
About The Position
EMCC is seeking adjunct clinical nursing instructors (approximately 16 - 18 hours/week for up to 16 weeks per semester) for the Bangor campus. Specific areas of need are Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Medical-Surgical clinical instructors. Responsibilities include supervising and instructing associate degree nursing students in hospital medical/surgical and/or skilled nursing settings. Clinical instructors are responsible for assigning patients who meet the educational and clinical experience requirements. Clinical instructors plan pre- and post-conferences and provide regular feedback to students for performance improvement and review. Final clinical evaluations are the responsibility of the clinical faculty.
Requirements
- BSN
- Current Maine RN licensure
- Medical / Surgical experience required
- Clinical Experience in a Related Discipline to the area of the instructor position
- CPR Certification
- Applicant must be legally eligible for employment in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in nursing preferred
