The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to hire an intern who will support its Child, Youth and Family (CYF) Division in Central Office Boston. This role involves conducting literature reviews on approaches to quantify unmet need for mental health services for youth with serious emotional disturbance, identifying and using state and federal data regarding the prevalence of serious emotional disturbance for youth in Massachusetts and indicators of unmet need for mental health services for this population, conducting analysis and preparing Tableau dashboards/reports on CYF community services utilization and outcomes data to support CYF quality management goals, and participating in internal and external meetings regarding the MA children's behavioral health system and connecting learnings with literature review and data analysis projects. The period of service is May 26, 2026, through September 04, 2026.
