Contracted Student Intern - Clinical Professional Services
About The Position
The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to hire an intern who will support its Clinical Professional Services (CPS) Division in Central Office Boston. This role involves supporting the Behavioral Health Treatment and Referral Platform (BHTRP) by reviewing data, updating websites with resources and dashboards, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and ensuring referral database accuracy. The intern will also manage contact lists for insurers, Eds, and psychiatric facilities. The period of service for this internship is from May 26, 2026, through September 04, 2026. Responsibilities
- Behavioral Health Treatment and Referral Platform (BHTRP) Data review daily (monthly, YTD)
- Update Expedited Psychiatric Inpatient Admission website with resources and dashboards/ data trends
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders
- Responsible for updating (BHTRP) referral database and ensuring status updates are accurate throughout the day
- Maintaining Insurers, Eds, and psychiatric facilities contact lists
