About The Position

The Contract Teacher provides instruction for select courses in the hiring department and performs other duties as assigned. Educational degree requirements beyond a high school diploma, as well as any applicable license or certification requirements, vary by program. Requirements

High school diploma required.
Additional educational degree requirements vary depending on the program.
Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations.
Ability to communicate changes and instructions professionally, effectively, and positively.
Ability to read, write legibly, and speak English with professional quality.
Ability to use a computer, printer, and software programs necessary for the position, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate effectively by telephone, think critically, manage multiple assignments, and organize and prioritize workload.
Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others, and to remain calm and respond courteously under pressure.
Ability to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation and workplace sounds; and see adequately to read computer screens and necessary written documents.
