About The Position

The Contract Teacher provides instruction for select courses in the hiring department and performs other duties as assigned. Education beyond a high school diploma, and any applicable license or certification, varies depending on the program.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Educational degree requirements beyond high school vary depending on the program.
• Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations.
• Able to communicate changes and instructions professionally, effectively, and positively.
• Able to read, write legibly, and speak English with professional quality.
• Able to use a computer, printer, and software necessary for the position, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Able to communicate effectively by telephone, think critically, manage multiple assignments, and organize and prioritize workload.
• Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others, and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for conversation in person and by telephone and identify workplace sounds; and see well enough to read computer screens and necessary written documents.
• License or certification requirements, if applicable, vary depending on the program.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of experience preferred.
