About The Position

This inside sales position focuses on promoting Sysco's products and services, building customer relationships, and achieving sales and profit goals within an assigned territory. This role may require working non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Research customer needs and develop tailored product and service solutions.
  • Evaluate market trends and recommend relevant products.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors.
  • Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, availability, and usage.
  • Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
  • Manage accounts receivable, working with the credit department.
  • Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order issues.
  • Participate in company functions, promotions, and customer events.
  • Attend sales and district meetings.
  • Engage in ongoing training.
  • Assist with training new employees.
  • Review and analyze sales reports and data.
