About The Position

The Contract Reporting Coordinator reports to and will be assisting the Contract Reporting Manager with the tracking and reconciling all performers’ salary and time information for all Major projects as well as being primarily responsible for less voluminous projects to which they are assigned. They will also be responsible for ongoing forensic analysis of projects that have been reconciled which need to be reviewed and revised as well as providing backup for Casting Administrator responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1-year experience finance and/or payroll (preferably Studio) in a Production Company.
  • Exceptional organizational, follow-through skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work well and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and written.
  • Reliability to work with confidential information.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible.
  • Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with performer agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze various types of setup documents and data to determine and verify completion and accuracy of performers’ agreement terms for setup in residuals system.
  • Identify missing information required, or other issues impacting accurate setup or payments, and communicate directly to the Casting Administrator and/or Residuals representative.
  • Ability to interpret and calculate complex residual contractual provisions in connection with domestic and foreign unions, as well as understanding of talent agreements in connection with those unions.
  • Research and resolve potential issues impacting contractual reporting and guild obligations in a timely manner.
  • Research and resolve guild and performer claims for current and historical projects.
  • Track and maintain detailed workflow records in connection with current projects as well as historical projects.
  • Partner with business units, internal and external, to expedite and support residuals processing requests.
  • Communicate directly with studio finance, third party payroll companies, and production; provide support to resolve potential issues.
  • Maintaining a constructive and collaborative relationship with production, studio, and residuals representatives.
  • Provide backup Casting Administrator responsibilities as needed.
  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality of information by business units and all Disney proprietary information such as internal residual processes, computer programs and databases.
