About The Position

As the Contracts Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the growing and complex network of contractual relationships between Wolfe's Neck Center and its partners, contractors, sub-awardees, and grantees. This role will provide pivotal support in creating and maintaining contracts and agreements that will provide clarity in roles, responsibilities and obligations. The Contracts Coordinator will work closely with internal staff and external partners. You will provide guidance to programmatic staff and external partners on contract requirements and collaboratively build a system for tracking those requirements and ensuring they are fulfilled. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, have good communications skills and a background in contract administration, a passion for creating seamless and simple processes accessible to all stakeholders, and be driven to help a growing organization as they work towards advancing agriculture's ability to become a solution to climate change.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and experience implementing policies and procedures, and drafting or reviewing contracts, preferably in a private foundation or regulated setting.
  • Display excellent skills in the areas of judgment, organization and time management, diplomacy, and decision-making. A proactive communicator.
  • Experience cultivating and managing relationships at different levels and with a variety of constituents across a large organization, including a demonstrated ability to work across boundaries and with diverse communities. Experience gathering information, recognizing problems, and spotting issues that may interfere with collective team success, breaking down complex problems and carrying out solutions.
  • Ability to identify potential risks and understand which partners and decision-makers need to be involved.
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related business or administration experience

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, review, and execution of both internal and external contracts including but not limited to MOUs, SOWs, sponsorship agreements and related invoices with institutional partners (including US government agencies, private donors, sub-contractors, corporations, vendors, grantees and farmers).
  • Create and maintain relationships with various stakeholders and serve as a single point of contact for matters concerning contracts, keeping necessary records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in process.
  • Communicate and present information to relevant staff & stakeholders such as contract performance and feedback related to stakeholders, including coordinating efforts and clear communications with the management team and grants finance manager.
  • Conduct compliance reviews of new and ongoing contracts, initiating modifications and updating as required.
