Contract Recruiter

Optery, Inc.
•$55 - $70•Remote

About The Position

Optery is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented contract recruiter to support a surge in hiring at a fast-growing data privacy company. The recruiter will work within the existing recruiting infrastructure and partner with the lead recruiter, leadership, and hiring managers across Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance & Ops, and Marketing to source, screen, and close candidates for complex and niche roles. The engagement begins as a three-month independent contractor contract, with potential for extension, at 20–30 hours per week. The position is remote within the United States and requires availability during regular U.S. business hours across U.S. time zones. The hourly rate is $55–$75. Contractors are not eligible for company benefits. The recruiter will manage full-cycle recruiting, develop recruiting strategies with hiring managers, deliver a high-touch candidate experience, maintain accurate pipeline records, and use recruiting data to improve hiring practices, tools, and workflows. The role requires someone who can ramp quickly with limited context, communicate proactively, and use strong judgment in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment. Optery describes its culture as low ego and high impact and highlights the opportunity to work directly with founders and hiring managers and help shape a mission-driven company’s team.
