About The Position

This is a contract role for 12-18 months. The position is responsible for supporting the Change Management Office (CMO) in assessing and managing change management efforts at both the system and project levels. The role involves providing training to foster a culture of change management, and planning, directing, and coordinating large to medium change management initiatives across various functional areas and locations. The role typically reports to the Network Performance Team – Performance Improvement (NPT-PI) Leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
  • Four (4) years’ change management or consulting experience required.
  • Strong collaboration, change management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine passion for and commitment to implementing changes that enhance the patient experience.
  • Highly knowledgeable about the healthcare landscape and current trends in change management.
  • Responds well to and enjoys change; works well under pressure.
  • Strong critical thinking skills; ability to develop solutions that address client needs.
  • Excellent communicator who thinks well on their feet and can persuade clients to action.
  • Pro-active, can-do attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Prosci Certified Change Practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Builds strong client relationships and acts as a trusted advisor by recommending solutions based on best practices.
  • Adapts change management solutions to fit individual department cultures while maintaining alignment with Memorial Hermann priorities.
  • Identifies and implements change networks to ensure long-term sustainability of change efforts.
  • Assesses projects to identify change management needs and creates tailored implementation plans.
  • Completes project-level Change Impact Assessment and Change Readiness Assessments.
  • Collaborates effectively with project management and process improvement subject matter experts to align change management recommendations with project plans.
  • Facilitates workshops on change management topics.
  • Clearly communicates the status of change management efforts to key stakeholders.
  • Develops complex and tailored communication plans in partnership with Internal Communications, Marketing, Strategy, Human Resources, EDI, etc.
  • Gathers and tracks change management metrics.
  • Plans, organizes, and moderates effective meetings for executive audiences.
  • Moves towards solutions despite aggressive schedules and discouraging developments.
  • Utilizes healthcare knowledge, trends, and experiences to identify and eliminate barriers to change.
  • Provides thoughtful, timely, and specific feedback to team members and stakeholders.
  • Supports department-based goals that contribute to organizational success.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications.
  • Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences.
