About The Position

Centric Consulting is seeking a temporary Change Management Consultant to support internal adoption efforts following the implementation of our clients Accela permitting system. The Change Consultant will begin with a structured assessment to establish a baseline of staff sentiment and identify where resistance is most prevalent. These findings will inform targeted engagement strategies and priorities. The consultant will facilitate refresher sessions with departmental teams, track feedback and sentiment throughout the engagement, and translate insights into clear, audience appropriate communications that provide leadership visibility into adoption health while keeping staff informed and supported.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of change management or organizational communications experience
  • Familiarity with government or municipal environments preferred
  • Experience with permitting, land management, or Accela platforms a plus
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to distill feedback into clear, actionable communications for varied audiences

Responsibilities

  • Design and administer an internal readiness assessment to baseline staff sentiment and identify adoption barriers across departments
  • Facilitate departmental refresher sessions focused on new Accela records and updated workflows
  • Track and analyze ongoing feedback and sentiment trends across impacted stakeholder groups
  • Develop and deliver targeted internal communications for staff, supervisors, and leadership
  • Partner closely with the Building & Housing department as the initial focus area for engagement
