About The Position

Turing invites Contract Law and Commercial Transactions experts to join projects that fine-tune AI models like ChatGPT. The role applies expertise in contract drafting, UCC transactions, breach of contract analysis, and commercial dispute resolution to evaluate how AI reasons about contractual obligations. No prior AI experience is required; a background in U.S. contract law is needed. The work involves reviewing AI-generated responses to U.S. contract law hypotheticals and evaluating issue spotting, accuracy of common law and UCC principles, and application of contract interpretation doctrines. Experts identify gaps in AI reasoning and provide detailed annotations and written feedback to refine AI models. They also collaborate with researchers and project managers to align evaluation standards and project goals. This is a flexible freelance engagement requiring 10–30 hours per week. The expected duration is approximately one month, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. The work is fully remote.
