The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces. The Contract Expeditor will execute a wide variety of activities to expedite and monitor the delivery of supplies and services in support of the Prepositioning and Marine Corps Logistics Services (P&MCLS) program in Jacksonville, Florida. Supports buying personnel with purchase order maintenance, status updates, and related data entry activities. Expedites materials, supplies, and services associated with purchase orders to support program requirements and delivery schedules. Obtains and monitors supplier delivery commitments and provides timely status updates to buyers and internal customers. Conducts supplier follow-up regarding delivery status, schedules, and overdue purchase orders to support purchasing goals and customer requirements. Maintains purchase order documentation, status records, and electronic tracking systems to ensure accurate and current procurement information. Maintains corrective action logs, tracks follow-up activities, and monitors completion status as directed. Investigates purchase order and delivery discrepancies as directed by buying personnel and documents findings appropriately. Compiles, updates, and distributes material status reports and supplier delivery metrics. Coordinates with suppliers, procurement personnel, and other stakeholders to support timely resolution of delivery and status issues. Maintains procurement records and supporting documentation in accordance with company and contract requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned.
