About The Position

Metro Sales Inc. is seeking a Contract Billing Administrator - Employee Owner to join their Accounting department in Green Bay, WI. This role is crucial for preparing maintenance contract records and generating accurate invoices. The administrator will also provide essential administrative support and maintain effective communication with both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 1+ years of office administration or industry experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Must be able to travel to St. Cloud, MN for a portion of the training

Responsibilities

  • Review billing contract data from customer sales orders and enter specific contract terms into the billing system's contract record to set up maintenance agreements.
  • Respond to email or telephone inquiries from internal or external customers regarding rates, procedures, or billing inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Review the daily billing queue to check for meter readings, ensure billing accuracy, and resolve discrepancies to process contract billing.
  • Process contract rewrites to adjust existing maintenance agreements.
  • Calculate and prepare special billing spreadsheets using Excel for customer presentation.
  • Run e-views to target specific billing criteria, such as above and below grids, and expired contracts.
  • Prepare profitability or special reports as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
