Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Contract Administrator supporting the Multidomain Sensing, Targeting and Survivability (MSTS) Division, Amherst Systems Operating Unit (OU). The preferred location for this hybrid position is Buffalo, NY, but this position may also be staffed at our Rolling Meadows, IL, location.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree plus 2 years of experience in Contracts Management/Administration or related field (i.e. contracts-related legal, pricing, business management, etc.); or a Master’s degree plus 1 year of experience in Contracts Management/Administration or related field (i.e. contracts-related legal, pricing, business management, etc.)
  • Will consider 6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance is required

Responsibilities

  • Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts
  • Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer communications to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with functional teams and management to lead internal proposal approval process
  • Advise program teams of contractual rights and obligations, including interpretation of contract terms and conditions
  • Maintain and update contract documents and official program records, including contractual documents and correspondence
  • Monitor contract requirements and associated program funding and deliverables to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated, understood, and followed
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and government regulations
  • Administer, negotiate, and perform closeout of contracts
  • Maintain an open and healthy relationship with internal and external customers
