The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the contract/purchase order requirements of multiple projects at once. Working directly with project managers, subcontractors, and customers in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years or more of construction contract administration experience is required.
  • Knowledge of pre-lien and lien processes.
  • Ability to create invoices in an AIA format.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a positive attitude under pressure and without supervision to meet contractual deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; Word Excel, Outlook, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Accounting or other business degree is preferred.
  • Experience with government construction contracts preferred.
  • Prior experience using JD Edwards Enterprise 1 accounting system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records and maintain job files.
  • Work directly with project managers, subcontractors, and customers in a professional manner.
  • Review contracts and alert project managers or any discrepancies between contract and proposal.
  • Maintain job budgets and research any errors for corrections.
  • Create timely invoices for customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
