About The Position

Support activities concerned with proposals, pricing, and contracts for sale of equipment, materials, products, or services. Manage complex government and commercial contracts and subcontracts for supply, services, and construction projects. Develop and maintain customer relations, acting as a liaison between customers and subcontractors. Ensure current awareness of market activity and customer requirements, discussing and identifying new markets and technologies with customers and informing all necessary internal parties. Assist in bid and proposal activity by reviewing proposals after bid/no bid decisions, and review final quote files for accuracy, completeness, and conformity. Follow up with customers on award status of contracts/purchase orders, and review terms and conditions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformity. Ensure all certifications, representative reports, and other exhibits required for contractual compliance are prepared, maintained, and submitted as necessary. Monitor customer contracts/purchase orders regarding scheduling, budget, changes, and requirements, and provide customers with status updates. Interface with functional departments involved in customer contracts/purchase orders through completion. Initiate and analyze job status reports concerning labor and material budgets, material details, shipping status, and overall contract/purchase order monitoring. Submit Potential Change of Scope (PCS) and Change of Scope (COS) forms to provide early notice to customers of potential impacts on budget and/or schedule, ensuring these are reviewed by Atec management and submitted promptly. Work with customers to ensure contract modifications are provided and communicated internally. Request, review, and implement modifications or extensions to contracts or amendments of solicitations. Prepare and submit government forms for export when required. Update the Contracts Manager on contract issues and advise all necessary departments of contractual rights and obligations. Check contract files for proper maintenance, documentation, and paperwork. Ensure all contract/purchase orders and modifications are properly implemented into the electronic system. Issue Contract Management instructions as necessary to inform other departments of special requirements. Resolve financial issues with customers and review/submit invoices. Assist with export regulations compliance (ITAR and EAR), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and perform customer screening. Assist with obtaining and compiling reports for Quarterly Reports and Board Meetings. Coordinate all necessary functions with Project Managers (PMs) and assist them with all project processes. Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective work environment. Ensure activities comply with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and report any deviations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from two-year college or technical school; or five (5) years of experience in aerospace/military, energy services, contract administration or manufacturing environment; or combination of education and experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
