Continuous Improvements Senior Analyst
About The Position
Johnson & Johnson MedTech Vision Supply Chain is undertaking a Lean transformation focused on waste reduction, operational efficiency, and supply reliability. The Continuous Improvements Senior Analyst supports leadership in driving year-over-year total delivered cost improvement, building a best-in-class supply chain, designing improvement roadmaps, and developing future Lean capabilities. The role applies Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma expertise to improve operational performance, eliminate waste, and increase productivity across production lines. It also supports continuous improvement culture-building, training, coaching, and delivery of supply-chain productivity, cost, inventory, capacity, and lead-time goals. The position is based in Anasco, Puerto Rico, and may require up to 10% domestic or international travel. Occasionally, non-traditional hours may be needed to support teams in different time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree; supply chain or engineering preferred.
- At least 4 years of progressive business experience in a regulated industry, with a strong supply-chain background.
- Certification in industry or from a university.
- Black Belt certification.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Excellence experience is required.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities in a matrix organization.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage partners at all levels.
- Strong analytical and strategic-thinking skills, including the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software tools.
- May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites.
- Occasionally able to work non-traditional hours to support teams in different time zones.

Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies and principles, including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM, waste reduction, and Kaizen.
- Apply Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve operational performance, eliminate waste, and increase productivity across production lines.
- Track progress, report metrics, and provide updates to the leadership team.
- Collect or create best-practice tools from internal, external, and industry sources; lead training and implementation of tools across the JJV supply chain.
- Deliver against JJV and functional annual and long-term goals for productivity, cost, inventory, capacity, and lead time.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and a mindset of challenging the status quo.
- Adapt to a changing environment and use change as an opportunity to improve processes and tools.
- Plan and deliver training in improvement methodologies to raise organizational acumen.
- Coach partners in applying Lean methodology and tools.
