About The Position

The Continuous Improvement and Data Analytics, Sr. Analyst is responsible for financial performance management, KPI governance, operational forecasting, and continuous improvement for the CVS Middle Mile transportation network, including Private Fleet and Dedicated (3PL) operations. The role establishes standardized KPI definitions, disciplined performance routines, and robust forecasting practices to support financial, service, and forecasting performance and ensure transportation meets enterprise expectations for cost, service, and operational execution.

Acting as a key business partner to the Lead Director, Private Fleet – Middle Mile Transportation and the Senior Manager Dedicated Transportation, this role supports six Private Fleet and 12 dedicated carrier operations. Primary accountability is within the Private Fleet network and Dedicated Fleet Operations, with visibility and performance alignment across the Middle Mile network. The position does not execute operations; it connects operational decisions such as routing, asset utilization, and service execution to financial and customer outcomes, ensures consistent performance visibility, and helps identify and deploy continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, private fleet, or supply chain operations.
• Minimum 2 years of semantic layer design in Snowflake or a similar semantic layer design tool.
• Minimum 2 years of Power BI development or similar.
• Lean/Continuous Improvement experience.
• Programming and scripting skills in Python, SQL, or similar.
• Experience in KPI governance, financial analysis, forecasting, and analytics.
• 10% travel required.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Nice To Haves

• Six Sigma Green Belt or better.
• Experience in multi-site retail distribution or logistics environments.
• Ability to operate independently and drive cross-functional accountability.
• Master’s Degree.
