Sr Analyst, Continuous Improvement
About The Position
Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Senior Analyst, Bakery Performance & Process Improvement to join its Van Nuys, California bakery team. The role is responsible for production reporting, performance analysis, and identifying opportunities to improve operational performance. It leads cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives to improve bakery efficiency, strengthen operational culture, and support business objectives. The position analyzes manufacturing and operational data, leads process improvement work using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and supports data-driven decision-making through reporting, dashboards, and presentations. The Senior Analyst works with bakery leadership and stakeholders to implement sustainable improvements and communicates project progress, recommendations, and performance results to leadership. The annual salary range is $75,000–$86,000.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited two-year college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years of related experience in process improvement, operations analysis, manufacturing, or project management.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification or training.
- Strong business acumen, with demonstrated project management and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Power BI.
- Ability to interpret procedures, analyze operational data, prepare reports, and effectively communicate findings to employees and leadership.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and frequently stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in process improvement, engineering, project management, or process analysis within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with programming and data-querying tools such as SQL, DAX, or Visual Basic.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience developing advanced data visualizations, reporting tools, and operational dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze production and operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage and support cross-functional project teams to improve bakery performance and operational effectiveness.
- Develop reporting, dashboards, and presentations to support data-driven decision-making.
- Drive process improvement efforts that enhance productivity, quality, and operational consistency.
- Collaborate with bakery leadership and stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions and strengthen organizational culture.
- Monitor project progress and communicate results, recommendations, and performance metrics to leadership teams.
