About The Position

Provides administrative and clerical support to the Director of Continuing Medical Education and all CME activities at Dayton Children's Hospital and outside of CME requests. This role involves working closely with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA), and CME Tracker regarding CME accreditation policies. The position requires excellent computer/typing and organizational skills, the ability to set goals, prioritize, multi-task, make decisions, compose letters, generate agendas, and take meeting minutes. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential.

Requirements

  • GED or High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hospital Grand Rounds - CME activities (weekly).
  • Serve as a resource for hospital-wide and off-campus coordinators submitting CME applications for approval through OSMA/DCH.
  • Maintain and manage the CME Tracker Website.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Continuing Medical Education.
  • Attend all CME-related meetings.
  • Work closely with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) and CME tracker.
  • Provide CME Committee Support.
  • Support related to Grand Rounds Online.
  • Support for Pediatric Forum Journal and Enduring Grand Rounds.
