Continuing Care Assistant
About The Position
The Continuing Care Assistant position (V15886) at Balcarres Integrated Care Centre, within the Chronic Resident Unit, is a full-time temporary role with an expected start date of May 07, 2026, and an expected end date of November 30, 2026. This role involves providing personal care and activities of daily living for clients, patients, and residents to encourage their optimum level of functioning. The assistant supports clients, patients, and residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. The position operates on extended shift hours (11.78 hours per shift) covering days, nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requirements
- Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
- Basic - Computer skills
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Applicants must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position
- Valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) dated within six (6) months and including a vulnerable sector search (required for interview)
